Abstract :
A new 18-40 GHz coaxial dual 6-port vector network analyzer has been built with 2.92 mm precision connectors at the output test ports. The design of the 6-port reflectometer, as well as the characterization of the power diode detectors and the modified-calibration of the dual 6-port are discussed. Experimental results on a sliding short at 22 GHz are reported.
