Abstract :
In this paper, a millimeter-wave MMIC six-port reflectometer is introduced. Coplanar waveguide (CPW) is used as transmission medium to make the design more compatible with uniplanar MICs and extend the working frequency to millimeter waves. The new design also includes matched diode detectors and their temperature compensation. The physical dimensions of the circuit are 14 mm à 1.6 mm. To validate the design, a prototype is fabricated using Miniature, Hybrid Microwave Integrated Circuit (MHMIC) technology and measured. Measured results of different loads by the fabricated six-port are in very good agreement with those obtained from a HP8510C network analyzer.
