Abstract :
This paper presents an efficient spectral-domain analysis of hybrid microstrip-dielectric waveguide structures using the newly developed orthonormal wavelet expansions. It is shown that this type of expansions lead to very sparsely populated moment matrices and thus make way for the application of the method of moments to more complex problems with a high degree of computational efficiency.
