Abstract
In this paper, the robust stability of uncertain neutral systems with discrete and distributed delays is investigated. The uncertainties under consideration are time-varying, but norm bounded. By dividing the discrete delay interval and neutral delay interval into two segments respectively, and choosing proper functionals for different segments, a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is employed. Some novel discrete-delay, distributed-delay, and neutral-delay-dependent stability criteria are derived and formulated in terms of linear matrix inequality(LMI). Numerical examples illustrate that the proposed criteria are effective and leads to less conservative results than existing ones.
