Farmers´ environmental awareness measurement indicators, scores and countermeasures in China

On the basis of the definition of environmental awareness, indicators, which be categorized into three kinds, and the survey questionnaire are designed. Relevant weights and scoring standards are set up to build a analysis model of farmers´ environmental awareness. Then, we take 313 farmers in Beijing as an example to conduct the survey. The survey show that farmers do not score high. And the scores are related to the factors such as gender, education background and family income. As last, four countermeasures are put up, such as the establishment and improvement of the relevant incentive and monitoring mechanism.
