  • Abstract
    The PowerPoint presentation is about the selection of a standard protocol for the water and environment industry, namely, the Water Industry Telemetry Standards (WITS) group. A technical and economic evaluation of standard protocol options is described. It was concluded that DNP 3.0 will be adopted, that IEC61850 standards will be observed and monitored, and that the current opportunity for collective action will be exploited.
