Abstract :
A digital technique for computing ocean microwave radiometric images is developed. Three discrete random field models including mosaic, fractal, and a Markov chain are used for texture image simulations. Several significant examples are presented. We feel that this novel, stochastic approach should provide a better understanding of advanced radiometric observations.
