Abstract
Distributed MIMO systems (DMS) combines the characters of traditional central MIMO systems (CMS) and distributed antenna systems (DAS). It is believed a very promise technology in the future of 4G, because of its large capacity, large coverage and less power loss from shadow and distance. A compound channel model considering path loss, log-normal shadow fading and small-scale fading for DMS is investigated in this paper and the system capacity is analyzed. Simulation results show that the channel model employed in this paper is valid.
