Abstract :
A new, simple and quantifiable competency model is presented to quantify a leader´s abilities and the total ability of a company´s management team. This allows best-matches for any given decision making moment or process to be found, thereby maximizing a company´s capability for innovation and entrepreneurship. Furthermore the method can uncover hidden or future obstacles that prevent a leader and thus the company from reaching full potential. From many interviews was found the optimal leader profile to maximize a company´s innovating and entrepreneurial potential, the most important ability named C.I.-ability or Communication and Information Processing and the disproportionate effect single actions can have on a leader´s development dubbed the Three Singles Effect.
