Abstract :
The paper suggests a plan for efficiently allocating limited radio frequency (RF) resources by using a propagation interference analysis (PIA). For this, interference path rates (IPR) among networks were calculated and compared with allowable interference rates (AIR) to determine channel reuse. For improving the speed at which IPR is calculated, the minimum interference separation distance (MISD) was considered to eliminate in advance the calculation of unnecessary IPR. With application of the proposed method, RF resources can be managed efficiently by allowing interference to a certain degree in accordance with AIR. It is possible to reuse the same channels without detrimentally affecting quality during use through allocation to all networks channels that satisfy AIR.
