Abstract :
This paper presents the design and the measured results of a L-Band PLL function. Thereby the following blocks are implanted on the same chip: a L-band VCO, a N/M programmable digital frequency divider and a phase/frequency discriminator using an external 1OMHz reference signal. The monolithic inegration allows to obtain a more compact PLL function which is easily to use with few external components. This integrated PLL circuit is easier reproductible than PLL function with separate circuits. The described circuit was realized using the enhancement/depletion HGaAsII process of Thomson-CSF Semiconducteurs Spécifiques.
