Abstract :
In this paper, a convolution interleaving and de-interleaving design method in Verilog based on RS codes of the digital audio broadcasting system (DAB) is presented. Interleaving technology can improve the performance of digital radio system, and also widely applied to various digital broadcasting systems. By using dual-RAM instead of FIFO in hardware design, the paper implements the above mentioned method based on ALTERA Cyclone III FPGA platform.
