Abstract :
With the features of HF data communication, an improved multicast protocol derived from RMTP (reliable multicast transport protocol) for HF reliable multicast transportation is provided. Since RMTP is not fitted for HF communication, the concept of "transmission in one layer; more layers support; and feedback in different layers on different time" is provided, some modifications are made to make it suitable for our HF communication scenarios. Simulation results indicate that, this improved protocol provided by this paper could meet with our demand, while reducing the transmitting delay for reliable multicast.
