Abstract
A portable, eyesafe, 3-D scanning aerosol lidar system designed and operated by the Hampton University Center for Lidar and Atmospheric Sciences Students (CLASS) is introduced. A mathematical lidar model program wrote using MathCAD software being developed and used by the student lidar team in CLASS is presented.
