Abstract :
The paper studies the control technique of without position sensor for permanent magnet brushless motor(BLDCM). According to the mathematical model of BLDCM, the paper derives the working principle of commutation principle for using the third harmonic back electromotive force(EMF). Compared with the other technologies of without position sensor, the method of third harmonic detection can be easily achieved in the application of high-power BLDCM, and the system operation is very stable. At last the simulation results show that the theoretical analysis is completely correct, and the result provides a new study idea to the technology of without position sensor for BLDCM.
