Abstract
This paper describes the modelling of nonlinear dispersive media in a two-dimensional TLM mesh. The nonlinear medium behavior is represented by connecting a one-port nonlinear network to each node in the mesh (shunt or series). Using this approach the propagation of electromagnetic waves in nonlinear dispersive dielectric has been simulated and soliton waves were observed.
