Abstract :
Here we present the work of dispersion analysis for the local field expansion equations used in the method of connected local fields. We will focus on the 2-D case we have the LFE-9 formula. The result will apply also to the 3-D case with the LFE-27 formula. We verify the effectiveness of LFE-9 method by computing the dispersion errors for an arbitrary plane wave propagating in space.
