Abstract :
We developed a new compact 8K Super Hi-Vision (SHV) recorder with a removable recording medium. We proposed a new recording method to improve the recorder´s compressed image quality and confirmed its validity by simulation. Integrating the recorder with the method enables high quality recording of SHV at 60 fps.
