  • Abstract
The introduction of microelectrode arrays (MEAs) in the field of electrophysiology has opened new possibilities in the analysis of spontaneous and evoked potentials generated by neural cells. Modern MEAs offer tens of channels to deeply investigate a small portion of neural tissue: hence, it is important to use a recording-stimulation system able to manage signals sent and received from the array and to acquire information minimizing noise corruption. In this paper we describe a recording-stimulation device, which offers a new approach in recording, filtering, and processing potentials from neural cultures
