Abstract
According to the developing history of electronic design automation (EDA) tools and computing hardware, today´s mainstream EDA tools are developed and built on UNIX and UNIX-like Linux platform. But the widespread of desktop computer increase the potential to use these EDA tools on Microsoft Windows platform. Since application programs built for specific platform couldn´t be executed on other platform, unless rewriting the entire program. The study proposed a technique to compile a program on the platform which is different from it was developed and built. And practical implementation of the proposed technique with a published EDA tool will also perform in this paper.
