Abstract :
A four stage methodology and supporting computer based tools are described. These have been specifically developed to assist in defining a goal architecture for future RN CIS. The key products of the methodology are (i) the information exchange requirements (IERs) needed to support operations, and (ii) the definition of a CIS architecture that will meet that requirement. The IER is developed with the assistance of the C2IR system, whilst the enabling architecture is identified from candidate architectures with the assistance of the ISAT
