Design and Implementation of Knowledge Distributed Collaborative Learning System Based on WEB

Teaching systems based on Web are popular now, but most of them are restricted to browsing teaching material on line for single student, lacking discussion and experience sharing among students which are made possible by network. Thus they are incapable of attracting students to study on line and receiving perfect results. This paper presents the concept of knowledge distributed collaborative learning system based on WEB platform. The system creates cooperation environment (CSCW) through network and forms a virtual community for collaborative learning. It will promote experience sharing, information exchange and discussion among teachers and students. Besides, the design and implementation of this system are also presented in this paper.
