Abstract :
Tests on the electrometric ac-dc transfer standard built at IEN have been performed. The instrument proved to work correctly and to have a stability better than 10 parts in 10/sup 6/ in the period of 5 min. Comparisons with thermal converters have shown results compatible with those obtained by the step-up procedure. Other tests, aimed at investigating the long term stability and at analysing possible systematic effects that can contribute to the ac-dc transfer difference, are also presented in the paper.
