Abstract
PCBM/P3HT based organic solar cells with embedded nickel reflectors on transparent anodes have been fabricated to enhance light trapping efficiency. The performance parameters dependent on embedded Ni coverage ratio and thickness were examined. Results showed that the short circuit current density of devices is strongly deteriorated by thick Ni reflectors (> 5 nm) and high Ni area ratio. For thin Ni reflectors (<; 5 nm), the light trapping was found enhanced and the internal current density was measured to be higher than that of devices without Ni reflectors.
