  • Abstract
    Based upon the algebraic properties of the frequency characteristic matrix of power systems, a new modelling method of power systems, called "Component Eigenvalue Connection Method (CECM)", is established. The generalised Nyquist criterion is applied to analyse the stability of interconnected power systems based on the proposed description.
