Abstract
With the development of internet technologies, e-commerce has already become a common practice among Chinese small and mid-sized enterprises. This research, based on an empirical survey in Wuhan, examines the external as well internal factors affecting small and mid-sized enterprises´ adoption of e-commerce, and discovers that small and mid-sized enterprises´ present technological capacities, organizational goals, external environment and enterprise culture may take a positive impact on their decision-making process.
