Abstract
A novel asymmetric crossed-dipole antenna for dual - frequency dual-sense is presented. By selecting unequal lengths for the arms, the proposed antenna operates in two different frequencies, and by arranging the positions of the arms, the senses of the circular polarized (CP) radiation can be obtained arbitrarily. A prototype was fabricated and measured with left-hand circular polarization (LHCP) for the SDARS band and a right-hand circular polarization (RHCP) for the GPS band. The measurement has a good agreement with the simulation.
