  • Abstract
    This paper introduces design and implementation of distance education system based on P2P (peer to peer) and CDN (content delivery network) technology. The text gives the design of living, VOD (video on demand), testing and the conclusion at finally in the paper. Users can get the service of video on demand and living in the Web, be able to significantly save bandwidth and server costs. The P2P+CDN streaming media distance system is designed for bandwidth bottleneck and Web server based on the current mode of distance education network technology does not support the existence of dynamic multimedia data and real-time streaming data problem. Each node in the network is both a service provider and consumer, the system solved the problem of Web service model and streaming media, and have the advantage of low bandwidth and server capacity, easy to deploy and high scalable.
