Abstract :
255–355nm AlGaN-based DUV-LEDs grown on sapphire with output power of several tens of mW and long life time are becoming commercially available. We will discuss the improvements in efficiencies and fabrication necessary for a better markets penetration in disinfection, curing and medical applications.
