Abstract :
By means of the finite element analysis software-ANSYS, the three-dimensional finite element mechanical model is established. According to the practical working conditions of the derrick of under pressure, the static analysis, modal analysis, are carried out. We obtain the stress and deflection distribution law as well as the natural frequency and modal shape of the derrick The findings indicated that this method may effective acquisition the result which tallies with the real industry and mining, avoids accident´s occurrence, and the result proves that it can primly meet the request. Establishing and analyzing large complex structures as derrick with ANSYS may economize manpower and material resources. At the same time, it has higher simulation precision and solves the real problem in the engineering. Furthermore, the interrelated calculation methods have also same reference values to the design and analysis of the structure such as derrick.
