Abstract :
A novel prototype QoS control scheme AFRS for wireless video surveillance system is proposed. AFRS means adaptive frame rate scheme which is terminal-centric and will dynamically adjust the frame rate according to the real time wireless network bandwidth. Experiments show when the network bandwidth changes, AFRS can efficiently decline the network flow, decrease the probability of packet loss rate and assure the quality of video. The scheme has been applied into reality and worked well.
