After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

The realistic image synthesis techniques involving the main problem is the removing hidden surfaces, the efficiency of hidden surface removal algorithm depends largely on whether the sorting is efficient. This paper analyzes the CUDA programming model and GPU computing model. Aiming at the efficiency problem of hidden surface removal algorithm and introducing radix sort algorithm. Because of the ray tracing has natural parallelism and the parallel features of radix sort, the radix sort was processed by parallel, and then its application in hidden surface removal algorithm, improved the speed in ray tracing.
