Abstract
Construction project is a complex, integrated business activity involving a large number of professional participants, and it usually covers a long time span. Construction information usually scatters in each project phase. In order to share and reuse information in construction lifecycle, the information flow in construction projects is depicted by IDEFO technique, where six phases are introduced. In the view of lifecycle management, an information lifecycle management model is suggested in this paper based on IFC techniques. The model will enhance modern construction management performance through comprehensive construction information classification and functions.
