Abstract :
The study of performance evaluation model for naval mine-sweeping has become a popular topic since advanced fuse technologies of mine came out in recent years. Most early models are based on a presupposition that each mine is affected merely once when the whole mine field has been swept one time. However, some mines can be affected many times due to the overlap of mine-sweeping area. Little work has been done with above situation, mainly because it is difficult to find a reasonable description of state transition matrix for the evaluation model. In order to seek a valid method to evaluate the effect of naval mine-sweeping, we put forward a modified model based on Markov process. A key has been found to solve the problems which are related to estimation of mine field status without some necessary parameters such as working condition of mine, mine sweeping probability of sweeper and so on. Then the solving method for the model is discussed in this paper. Further, the emulation is carried out to demonstrate the calculation process of the effectiveness indexes with relative analysis. The result shows that the model can get exact outline of initial mines even in the condition of small sample data.
