Abstract :
We report enhanced performances in fiber-optic parametric processing via backward Raman amplification, leading to increased gain, deferred saturation, suppressed crosstalk, reduced distortion in optical phase conjugation, and improved gain extinction ratio in phase-sensitive amplification.
