Abstract :
In this paper, three designs of dual-polarized antenna are presented for the multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) applications. High ports isolation can be achieved in all the three antennas with slender columnar structures. Two key issues are measured and compared among the three designs, including the impedance bandwidth and the radiation pattern. The results show that different antennas are with different advantages, and can be adopted for different requirements in the practical applications of 2.4 GHz wireless local area networks (WLAN).
