Abstract :
Due to the lower decoding latency and better channel coding performance, parallel decoding method has broad application in decoding turbo codes. However, memory collision issue is a troublesome problem during parallel processing. In this paper, by combining with the modulus property of punctured codes, a novel parallel interleaver based on Chinese Remainder Theorem is proposed. It is shown by computer simulations that our proposed parallel interleaver can achieve preferable BER performance and decrease the complexity.
