Abstract
A case study is given that demonstrates the improvements of magnet wire quality by using thermal analysis techniques. Unlike traditional wire testing methods which require numerous performance checks, thermal analysis is used to determine the degree of cure of the insulation. Once the degree of cure is known, it can be effectively controlled using standard process control techniques
