Abstract :
An ultra-wideband coplanar waveguide-fed-triangular monopole antenna is proposed that operates in the FCC band [3.1-10.6] GHz. The sides of the triangular patch are modified in the shape of a Koch square fractal to achieve ultra-wideband performance. Numerical and experimental results are provided to verify the design with very good agreement.
