Abstract
A novel, heterodyne refractometer, consisting of a Fabry-Perot optical interferometer to which pairs of lasers are locked in wavelength, is being further developed to study the anomalous dispersion of a gas, in order to provide an alternative method to well-established absorption-based techniques of determining gas concentration.
