Abstract :
In this paper, we expand the linear prediction method of Chan et al. (1981) in the case where the number of the frequency components in the signal is unknown. In the proposed method, we assume an unknown number J is larger than the number of the frequency components in the signal, by using J, the exact frequency components in the signal can be estimated
