Abstract :
An asymmetric TEM cell with absorber loading is analyzed in terms of field uniformity, bandwidth, and characteristic impedance. This cell was modified from a commercial asymmetric TEM cell to improve its electrical characteristics. It is evaluated experimentally before and after the modification to determine its radio frequency characteristics. The modification and measurement results of the cell are given and compared with the original cell.
