Abstract :
A method is (re)introduced to measure the gain factor of a single passive antenna. A setup for insertion loss measurement and the antenna itself in front of a totally reflecting surface is required simulating a second identical antenna speeding up calibrations considerably with traceable results, smaller uncertainty and cost.
