Abstract :
An analysis of the algorithm for period measurement based on a segmentation and labeling technique is shown in this paper. Results of the implementation of the algorithm on an oscilloscope are explained, comparing these with results of the oscilloscope algorithm for period computation. In the last section, results of the algorithm, arranged for a microcontroller with ARM architecture, are shown.
