Abstract
Based on layered system analysis, cross-layer optimization of WSN is concluded as two strategies: information based cross-layer and function based cross-layer. The former is mainly controlled by signaling or the establishment of a third entity, and the latter is the fusion of two or more traditional function layers To some extent, the whole network has been optimized by these two strategies.
