This work explores the application of quality function deployment (QFD) in quality management of higher education, which can translate the enterprise requirements for graduates into quality dimensions of higher education by using the house of quality (HOQ). The enterprise requirements for graduates is analyzed and categorized into four groups. According to the requirements, twenty four quality dimensions of higher education are identified and categorized into seven groups. Finally, a case study is undertaken to construct the HOQ and to demonstrate the effectiveness of translating the enterprise requirements into higher education by using QFD software. Through the application of QFD, higher education institutes could identify their weak points of education, and improvements could be made on quality of graduates to better meet the requirements of enterprises.
