Abstract
This study investigates the dynamic distribution of plantar pressure of Chinese adults and its impact factors. The pressure of different plantar zones of 60 male Chinese adults was measured using Plantar Pressure Measurement System: Footscan. The statistical results show that for normal walkers the dynamic pressure of left and right foot is symmetrically distributed and for each foot the pressure is different on different planter zones. For each foot mainly the second metatarsal, heel and hallux zones bear the weight of human body when people walk. Age is an important impact factor for the distribution of plantar pressure rather than the weight. There is certain correlation between distribution of plantar pressure and the walkers´ age, which is potentially worth further investigation.
