Exploration on internationalizing software engineering education

The internationalization of higher education has been a dominant trend of most universities, meanwhile the need of qualified international software engineers is pressing as the rapid development of software industry. The study on internationalizing software engineering education has been becoming an urgent issue to the universities in China. In this paper, the main problems on the way to internationalize software engineering education are analyzed. Based on these problems, the School of Software Engineering in Beijing Jiaotong University is making some exploration on pushing Chinese software engineering education internationalization, which is presented in the paper. The achievements may be taken as a reference and example to speed up the process of internationalization of software engineering education in China.
