Abstract :
Modern software technology strives for more individual business applications, although there is an obvious movement towards standard applications. The challenge lies in detecting the IT requirements of an enterprise and in implementing them into software, taking into account a rapidly changing business environment. We present an approach for non software engineers: the requirements of an enterprise are identified via the characteristics of the individual company. With the characteristics of a business in mind, an automated tool suggests IT requirements. Furthermore, there often is a gap between requirements engineering, business process modeling, software models, and the real software. Our approach shows possibilities to directly link software components and a business model created by requirements engineering. Finally, we check current software technology for appropriate architectures. Our findings are that neither individually programmed solutions nor rigid standard software could generate proper systems with reasonable effort. Therefore, we evaluate different new software architecture approaches for their suitability
