Abstract
Based on the concept of interference temperature, a novel interference temperature estimation algorithm for cognitive domain, which integrates adaptive line enhancement with multi-taper spectrum estimation and singular value decomposition, is presented with detailed description in this paper. The algorithm provides the reference for communication access, avoidance and power control of cognitive radio subscribers. The performance of the algorithm is analyzed and compared by simulation according to the practical requirement of cognitive radio. The result shows that the proposed algorithm has higher probability.
